Hi, I’m Naomi.
Many of you may not know that Peach and Pea originally began as Work It Mama — born from my love of babywearing and fitness. I ran classes for pregnancy, babywearing, and postnatal fitness, and from this the sling library naturally grew. As life has evolved, the classes paused, which created the perfect moment for the sling library to have its own identity, separate from the fitness side. And so, Peach and Pea was born.
The name comes from my two children: Madeline Peach and Percy, who has always been my little “pea.”
My aim is to support as many families as possible to experience the comfort, connection, and practicality that babywearing can offer.
Alongside running the sling library, I work full time in Children’s Occupational Therapy, completing a degree — and in my spare time, you’ll almost always find me happily immersed in slings.

At Peach and Pea, our Sling Library is designed to be as simple and supportive as possible.
You begin by contacting me to arrange a babywearing assessment. This might be to gain confidence with a sling you already own, or because you’re not sure where to start and want to explore the options available.
For your session, I bring a wide selection of our library stock for you to look through and try on. Together, we explore what you need from a sling and who will be using it, so I can show you the features, adjustments, and helpful techniques that make each carrier work best.
Before I leave, I make sure you can put the sling on and off safely and confidently. You’ll also receive a video recap so you can revisit the guidance whenever you need to.
Alongside this, you have access to free support all year round. If something doesn’t feel right, you can message, and or send photos, and we’ll work through it together.
Your first week of hire is always free. After that, there’s a small monthly fee, and you’re welcome to keep the sling for as long as you need. Many families try several different carriers over a few months or years to find the perfect fit — it’s a great “try before you buy” approach. Payment is usually by standing order bank transfer and when you’re ready to return your sling or swap to something new, just let me know and we’ll arrange it.

Our Mission
Our mission at Peach and Pea is to make parenting easier and more affordable. Slings can cost hundreds of pounds, and it’s frustrating when a carrier doesn’t suit you or your baby.
Our sling library offers a true “try before you buy” experience — and many families simply choose to hire for as long as they need. You’re welcome to explore as many styles as you like until you find the perfect fit for your family.
Babywearing offers countless benefits. When used safely and correctly, it supports bonding, boosts parental wellbeing, makes daily life more manageable, and promotes healthy development. It also encourages natural bone and muscle growth and helps you notice and respond to your baby’s cues more quickly.
If there’s a particular carrier you’d like to try that we don’t currently stock, just let me know — we’ll do our best to source it. We also gratefully accept donations of pre‑loved slings.
Many parents feel their baby is “too heavy” to carry, but this is rarely the case. With the right sling and good weight distribution, babywearing can continue well into the school years.
We support families with tiny premature babies right through to much older children.
Every sling in our library has a name — each one is named after the first child who hires it. Perhaps the next one will be named after your little one.
Whats Happening and When
1:1 AND GROUP SESSIONS CAN BE BOOKED ANY WHEN UPON REQUEST
I tend to do these sessions on an evening after work but can fit around you if a weekend works better.
Whats Coming ??
I am undertaking a degree apprenticeship in Occupational Therapy, which is my day job, when I qualify in 2027. The Baby Wearing OT will be here and will be bringing even more knowledge and practice to the Peach and Pea Sling Library

My Parent Hood runs fantastic drop in sessions called the Brew Club, we plan to come to one of these sessions to deliver a Baby wearing session and sling library. 10-12 at the All Saints Community Centre, South Cave
